The Budget Host Mericana provides a comfortable and affordable home away from home. All rooms are ground floor and comfortably furnished. We are family friendly as well, with a childrens play area. We have barbeque grills and a picnic area, and we offer free Continental Breakfast every morning. All of our rooms are oversized, we also offer rooms with 3, 4, and 5 beds. We are happy to provide you with short rides around town should the need arise. Fort Madison is a unique town on the Mississippi River. The local hunting and fishing areas are also well frequented, and provide year round enjoyment that is a sportsmans paradise. The Riverfront District is an antique hunters paradise architecture and history enthusiasts will enjoy the towns numerous Victorian-era structures. The Historic Center, housed in a 1910 Santa Fe Railroad depot, contains pioneer and Indian relics. The riverboat casino that docks on the Mississippi from May to October offers gaming and daily two-hour cruises on the river.
